DAY 1

Reception

We receive you at the Tepual Airport in Puerto Montt to transfer you to the Hotel in Puerto Varas where we will meet with all the tour passengers to explain in detail what the trip will consist of, we will deliver the motorcycles, sign contracts and enjoy our welcome dinner.

DAY 2

Puerto Varas - Llanquihue Lake - Hornopirén 326 Kms (0% OFF ROAD)

We will tour the beautiful Llanquihue Lake, seeing the imposing Osorno Volcano in front of us, we will visit the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park where the Petrohué Falls are located to continue our trip bordering the lake where we will arrive at the beginning of the Carretera Austral, to advance the first kilometers, but not before sailing by ferry until reaching the town of Hornopirén.

DAY 3

Hornopirén - Pumalín National Park - Chaitén - Yelcho Lake 186 Kms. (20% Off Road)

We head to the Hornopirén pier where we will take the ferry that will take us through the southern fjords for 5 hours to Caleta Gonzalo, this town marks the beginning of the Pumalín National Park, one of the most pristine in the country and which the environmentalist was the owner. American Douglas Tompkins who after his death was donated to the country by his wife. After trekking through the park, we continue along Route 7 to Lake Yelcho, where we will rest in a dream Lodge.

DAY 4

Yelcho Lake - Arana Barros Cord - La Junta - Puyuhuapi 235 kms (40% off road)

After an exquisite breakfast on the shores of Lake Yelcho, we continue our trip through the evergreen forests of Patagonia, where we can see the Yelcho Snowdrift from the road. After having successfully negotiated the Moraga slope, we will arrive at Villa Santa Lucía, a town that experienced one of the largest natural disasters in Patagonia, when it was swept away by a flood in 2017. Between bridges, rivers and lakes we continue heading south to explore the circuit of the valleys to see the beautiful Cordón Barros Arana, the Laguna Claro Solar and marvel at the pristine nature of this area. We return to Route 7 to reach Puyuhuapi, a beautiful town on the shores of the Puyuhuapi Fjord.

DAY 5

Puyuhuapi - PN Queulat - Puerto Cisnes 90 Kms (20% Off Road)

Our trip continues along the Puyuhuapi and Queulat fjords until we reach the Queulat National Park, an obligatory stop where we will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Hanging Glacier, one of the main attractions of the region. Our next objective will be to take the curves and countercurves of the famous Cuesta Queulat and then detour to the town of Puerto Cisnes, known as "The Pearl of the Coast" where we can taste delicious preparations such as fried fish.

DAY 6

Navigation PN MAGDALENA ISLAND - PUERTO CISNES - Coyhaique 207 Kms (0% Off Road)

We begin this day with a navigation through the Patagonian fjords accompanied by marine fauna such as sea lions, bottlenose dolphins, southern and Chilean dolphins. We will disembark at Magdalena Island NP, one of the most pristine in the country to enjoy its natural hot springs and taste seafood products. After 5 hours of navigation we will arrive at Puerto Cisnes where we will take our motorcycles and ride along the Cisnes River until we join Route 7 that will take us to Coyhaique, capital of the Aysen region.

DAY 7

Coyhaique - Simpson Valley - Puerto Río Tranquilo 233 Kms (50% Off Road)

We say goodbye to Coyhaique to head south but not before visiting the beautiful meadows of the Simpson Valley, then we will head through the Cerro Castillo National Park where we will appreciate the imposing massifs and, if we are lucky, we will be able to spot Huemules. Winding the famous Cuesta del Diablo we will arrive at Villa Cerro Castillo, a town that reminds us that we have only a few kilometers of pavement left. We will advance between mountains, bordering rivers and forests until we see Lake General Carrera, which alerts us to the proximity of our destination for the day, Puerto Río Tranquilo.

DAY 8

Morning: Marble Chapels Navigation - AFTERNOON QUIET RIVER PORT - COCHRANE 114 KMS (100% OFFROAD)

The Marble chapels are one of the most important tourist attractions in Patagonia. Composed of limestone formations, they stand out for the beauty of their columns and the intense blue of the waters that protect them. The Cathedral, The Chapel and The Cave, sculpted on the shores of Lake General Carrera, make up one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Carretera Austral. Once the navigation is finished we continue south bordering General Carrera Lake. On our trip we will visit the town of Puerto Bertrand before arriving at Cochrane.

DAY 9

Cochrane - Caleta Tortel - Villa Ohiggins - Puerto Bahamondes 291 Kms. (100% Offroad)

This will be a day you will never forget!! We will ride between mountains, rivers, cliffs and lush forests, we will arrive at Puerto Yungay where we will wait for the ferry that will transport us to Río Bravo to continue our trip to Villa O'Higgins. From there, just kilometers away we will find Bahamondes Bay and a sign that tells us that it is the End of Carretera Austral. After the obligatory photo and happy to have achieved the goal, we headed to Villa O'Higgins where a roast lamb dinner awaits us to celebrate this important milestone.

DAY 10

Villa O'Higgins - Patagonia National Park - Puerto Bertrand 300 Kms (100% Off Road)

After a filling breakfast, we head north along Route 7 where we can contemplate the beauty of one of the most beautiful Off Road routes in the country, where we will have the possibility of stopping at the viewpoints to contemplate the landscape. Our obligatory stop will be to visit the Patagonia National Park, an example of wildlife conservation in Patagonia. Once we return to Carretera Austral we will arrive at Puerto Bertrand, a town located on the banks of the Baker River, the largest river in the country.

DAY 11

Puerto Bertrand - Chile Chico - Coyhaique 285 Kms (50% Off Road)

This day we return to Route 7 towards the north until we reach Lake General Carrera where we will ride along the southeastern end of the lake through one of the most complex routes of the trip "El Paso de Las LLaves" until we reach Chile Chico, there we will take a ferry After 2 and a half hours of navigation we will arrive at the town of Puerto Ibañez. From here we will take one of the routes where we can get the best view of the Cerro Castillo massif until we reach Route 7 that will take us back to Coyhaique, where we will prepare for our farewell dinner where we will share the anecdotes of the trip.

Coyhaique - Balmaceda Airport
